Bak'D Hotbread is a local bakery family: two Bak'D shops in Yamba and Grafton, and Maclean Hot Bread Cake & Kitchen on River Street. Community first, ovens on early, Sundays off.
Yamba is the coastal shop — surf checks, school lunches and that Saturday loaf. Grafton is the in-town shop at Shoppingworld, handy when you're already running errands. Maclean keeps its own name and its own cake kitchen, with a wide run of bread, pies and celebration cakes for the river towns.
We're here for the usuals: the weekday pie, the sports-club tray, the birthday cake, the coffee on the way through. If you need something extra, send an enquiry and we'll get back to you. We never confirm bookings or lock money quotes from a website form — the owner looks after those.
Come say g'day. If the racks are looking sparse, we've probably had a busy morning — that's a good sign around here.
